University Enhances ICT Infrastructure with Structured Cabling Project
In early 2025, the University successfully completed a structured cabling project to boost network connectivity and digital access across key facilities.
The project covered:
- MEA Building (School of Education): Lecture halls, offices, and labs are now fully connected, supporting digital learning and research.
- LBB Building (School of Engineering): Modern cabling was installed to link offices, labs, and teaching spaces, ensuring seamless communication and access to online resources.
- SPD Building (School of Computing & Informatics, School of Arts): High-capacity cabling, including fiber, now supports advanced teaching and research needs in computing and technology.
This milestone marks a major step in strengthening the University’s ICT backbone, creating reliable, high-speed connections that power modern teaching, learning, and innovation.
